Reading: Psalm 139:1-18
Devotional: Today’s passage reminds us of God’s constant presence in our lives. He knows us intimately and is with us always. Imagine how your life might change if you were constantly aware of His presence. In your daily activities, pause to acknowledge God’s nearness. Whether in moments of joy or struggle, remember He is there. Let this awareness shape your choices, attitudes, and interactions. Practice “practicing the presence of God” today—living each moment with the knowledge that you are before Him and with Him.
Illustration: Think of a child holding their parent’s hand. The child feels secure and confident because they know their parent is with them. Likewise, living in God’s presence brings peace and assurance, no matter what we face.
3-Step Application:
Start your morning by reading Psalm 139:1-3 aloud, reminding yourself of God’s presence.
Set reminders throughout the day to pause and acknowledge God with a simple prayer like, “Thank You for being with me, Lord.”
End your day by journaling one way you noticed God’s presence.
Prayer: Father, thank You for always being with me. Help me to live in constant awareness of Your presence. Let Your nearness guide my actions, my attitudes, and my choices today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
