Day 4: Faith that Overcomes

Writer's picture: Forward ChurchForward Church

Reading: Hebrews 11:1-6, James 1:2-4

Devotional:

Faith is the key to our comeback. It's not about never falling; it's about getting up every time we fall, trusting in God's faithfulness. Peter's journey from denial to becoming a pillar of the early church exemplifies this. Reflect on how your faith has been tested and strengthened through trials. How can you cultivate a faith that perseveres?

Application:

1. Identify a current challenge in your life.

2. Write down three promises from Scripture that you can hold onto in faith during this time.

3. Take time each evening to reflect on how faith has helped you overcome challenges recently.

Daily Prayer:

Dear Father, thank You for the gift of faith. Strengthen my belief in Your promises and help me to walk daily by faith and not by sight. Refine me through my challenges and grow my trust in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
