Reading: Luke 22:31-34, Ephesians 2:4-9
Devotional:
Just as Jesus foresaw Peter's denial, God knows our weaknesses and failures. Yet, His grace precedes our mistakes. Reflect on how God's grace has been evident in your life, even in moments of failure. Consider how this foreknowledge of God can bring comfort and hope. Today, rest in the assurance that God's love for you is not dependent on your performance but on His unchanging character.
Application:
1. Write down a recent failure and next to it, write "covered by grace."
2. Spend a few minutes each morning this week meditating on God's grace in your life.
3. Pray, thanking God for His preemptive grace in your life.
Daily Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing grace that covers my every flaw and failure. Help me to see beyond my mistakes and rest in Your loving arms. Thank You for knowing me fully and loving me completely. In Jesus' name, Amen.
